Was it just the seal on the shaft that blew out? If so, I believe you can get it rebuilt, it would probly cost a little more, but would most likely last longer than a 25 year old used shock. --- Jon.

take like a crowbar or hammer. Use the claw part of the hammer and get on the backside of the bolt head and put pressure on it. then while applying pressure unscrew the bolt.

I'd like to see this "10' in the air"

Maybe it was a dead shock. Shocks don't normally come apart.

Did you have brakes on this machine?

three_wheelin45
01-08-2012, 08:35 PM

I have heard that a stock "red" spring off a 1st gen 200x will work on a 2nd gen 200x. The 1st gen is spot to be stiffed then the stock 2nd gen 200x.

Please, PLEASE, buy a more common trike to destroy. That'd be like me using my 400WR Husky as a tractor.

One thing you're not accounting for is the different rates of all these shocks. Different bikes have different ratios with their suspension linkage. Just because a shock works in one bike it does not mean it will work right in yours.

The kid is just trying to McGyver his trike for as cheap as he can so he can get his 'no-brakes / no bucket' running ass back out on the jumps as soon as he can!!

He has told many stories of his mad-max riding with no brakes or helmet, doing jumps and wiping out at top speed.

Personally I think a high power has intervened so that maybe his family doesn't have to bury him on his birthday..

I for one will refrain from offer suggestions on how he can accomplish this..because he is just making us accomplice to his suicide!!

If his machine is broken..let it stay broken a while. Perhaps he'll learn something and live to be our age. Probably not!!

Next time you're jumping '10 feet' take a video. I'm sure we'd all love to see a machine with no brakes speeding around retardedly, and jumping 10 feet in the air. Just buy a second gen 200x shock and BUY SOME BRAKES...

01-09-2012, 05:21 PM
or we can break the boards rules and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro in my thread... and ik Idk why I put 10ft, the most air ive got was 7ft and it was jumping off the side of hill (true story surprised my suspension didnt break then) and riding around fast with no brakes?? your sad lol brakes are nice but not a need for riding... haul ass in the open parts and dont go no faster then u want to hit something on the trails...

Enough Said. You'll learn when you break your neck.

Don't expect a fundraiser for you.

If I was a mod, I wouldn't put up with this crap.

Feel free to ride without brakes, but please don't come on here posting about it.

This is a classic case of the annoying little kid at school. If you ignore him and don't feed into his childish games, he will eventually go away. Every one of his threads end like this because he doesn't have the ability to just keep his smart a-ss comments out of what ever he is trying to accomplish. He refuses to listen to the people who try and help. His intent is not to gather information to fix it the right way, but rather to start a pissing contest.

He has a reputation for flaunting his lack of regard for safety and could care less if his actions bring negative attention to the sport and never mind his bike is a rolling death trap. He post baits like a whore and most of the time we fall right into it. Just as I have right now.

I don't understand why all of you are getting mad about what he does. It's only his and his family's problem. he will learn when he splits his head open or wakes up in a ditch.

Because as stated already, quite a few if not most of the members here, care about the positive promotion of 3 wheeled ATV's.

Simple scenario.
So here comes this guy to a riding park. The only riding park in his area that will allow 3 wheeled ATV's or a motocross track persay possibly. He takes off down the trail or track riding as fast as he can with no brakes and runs into a child on a mini quad, or an innocent bystander at the track and someone gets seriously hurt.
The park owner says "Well that's it for those 3 wheeled deathtraps" and bans trikes from that ride area. Then it proabably makes the local news, hits a insurance agent somewhere, all resulting in more hatred for ATV's in general and the "idiot hillbilly" on the death trap 3 wheeler caused it all.
