I was wondering with the rarity of the KLT 160 if I could use 110 or 185 parts as well since they might be a little cheaper and easier to find. Mostly wondering about gas tank, rear plastic, headlight shroud, airbox, brakes, handlebar controls and choke. Thanks

Gas tank is the same. Rear plastics will bolt up but are different. I have a 110KLT and just for kicks bolted on a set of 185 plastics I had. The 185 fenders are wider and have better coverage but these were broken and split and my 110 ones were perfect but were red, so my brother in law is painting them black with a flex againt and clear coat. Front forks will interchange, if you change out the headlight cover, or cut and weld the old brackets. Air box will change, the 110 has 2 holes in the front that the 185 did not but..... whats 2 holes. The air box tops interchange and the 185 top scoops forward so maybe trapping more cold air??? Or just looks cooler, IMO??????
