I started with the same plow, and swivel assembly...
Here is how I built mine...

Thorpe,
I like the way you have yours so it can be bolted together rather than how mine is. I'm looking into cutting it about 1/4 of the way out, about in line with the forks and attaching a "Sleeve" to the other end so I don't have to be rolling around in the snow to attach it.

350XJedi,
I can raise the blade up or down. That's what the whet bar does. The blade can be set right, left, or straight but that has to be done on the blade bracket.

I find that I dont change the angle too often on my BR... I just jump off, hit the lever, angle it, and go... The whole assembly of my plow, can be off in 10 minutes. 3 minutes if I leave the cross bar (under the pegs on it) Longest part of the project is swapping the shorty plow winch cable for the 50' I have on the winch in the summer...

I can get the thing on and off quickly, but I don't have a big enough garage or shed so I would have to do the assembly in the snow, & I think that would suck!!!

Here is a video of mine, winch and adjustable without getting on and off. I change angle often and it got old......so I came up with this. Nice job with yours by the way....you may want to try and shorten it up in the future....makes them a bit more manuverable. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/135866-Big-red-now-has-a-winch-and-adjustable-angle-plow-for-icefest!!?highlight=big+red+has+a+winch 1 cotter pin 2 washers and 30 seconds and a 3/4" solid steel rod slides out and disconnects mine. The rest of the mount stays on the bike year round as it is condemned to a life of hard labor:twisted::twisted:

We got snow last Saturday here in the Great State of New Jersey and the plow worked great. I have to lower it a little but other than that I had no problems. I used it on the street where the Town plows and the Big Red went straight through. No chains, no extra weight.

How did it do pushing snow? Looking at it, and this my opinion, the way the blade is laid back, it looks lke it would act like a giant shovel, it the blade itself was more upright, would it work better? It could be the pictures or I could be way off base, my apologies if that is the case. Looks good otherwise.

In the pictures the Plow is in the "Up" position. When lowered is leans forward more. It's also set to the "Forward" position and can be switched from right or left. It pushed the snow with no problems at all. I have to raise the wheel a bit so that the plow is a little bit lower.

Ok gotcha. Looks good man, wish i could build something like that for 250sx for plowing the walkway and small parts of the driveway. Good job again and have fun out there.

The truth is I will probably never really use it as I have a 11HP 36" cut snow blower. I just wanted another reason to drive around in the snow. This would be perfect for the 250SX as the wheels is a little smaller and the plow would hit the ground correctly. This was first made for a 250SX but I don't have that trike anymore.
