Really dont knw Clutch problems.....

Okay so let me start off saying i have a 1984 kawasaki KXT Tecate im having an issue with the clutch not wanting to work. Im rebuilding her just got done with a new piston and borin i have the top end rebuilt but i notice when i was putting the clutch lever and cable bak on its not wanting to engage the little lever on the engine case doesnt appear to be doing anything when i move it bak and forth? It has the right amount of oil in it i believe so im not sure whats the deal any ideas PLEASE where should i start?:confused: This is the lever by the way.139822

put the cable on and adjust it. (make sure its the right cable) its normal for it to move back and forth freely
