atc 200 gas cap gasket

i have the 1983 atc 200 with the original gas cap with the on off vent.. the gasket for this gas cap is cracked and worn and leaks gas.. i restored the tank and i am tired of gas running down it, but i have not been able to find these gaskets anywhere.. does anyone know where to get these or something that works as a substitute??????
