help removing hand throttle

hello,

i was taking my bike apart today, and kind of stumped on how to remove the hand throttle. i dont want to break it, its made out of plastic.

how do you remove the hand throttle on the 86 tecate?

just unscrew it :? i put a thumb throttle on my t3. i ride more trails and a twist will get you killed :D

i unscrewed it, but it does not slide off. i am going to keep the twist for now.

thats the way it came, and i want to try it out like that.
