You never will know who to trust....check the feedback from a person....make sure there are no negatives and if there is that they are a bunch of bull..... Finally...use Paypal as it will protect you as a buyer from getting ripped off. I would think you could pick up a really good one just rebuilt or done recently for less than a grand. The ones I saw that were a grand or so were all polished and looked like sparkeling diamonds!!!

yea and paying a grand for one i mean i want it to be right you know. do you know anything bout the liquid cooled 250r. not sure if i even need one

Is there really anything else? I don't care for the airfoolers! I would rather have a liquid cooled..... so much more advanced and I think you can't come close to matching the power. Hondas motor for the liquid cooled R's I believe are one of the best made!!! Thats why there are so many parts still avalible, because they were the best and most sought after.....so many out there...and such demand for the parts....honda is still making out on them....not to mention...... look back at all the old articles where there were shootouts... the R generally came out on top!!! Great bike.... I have an 85' R right now and an 86' Tecate 3....Can't beat em'!!!
