I finally got my 200x running and riding pretty good with no issues. When I got it, it needed a new kick start assembly. I installed the new kick start assembly and got everything back together. It was driving great for the first half hour I was out and then the clutch lever started getting super hard periodically.

Basically the trike will drive good and then for about 10 seconds or so the clutch lever gets real hard while riding usually I just let off the gas coast a second rev it a lil and it frees up and then goes on like nothing ever happend. Im not sure if its adjusted wrong or something is hanging up or if the clutch is just going bad. I didnt ride it any either before I put the kick start in so Im not sure if its a pre-existing condition or if I did something wrong.

It doesnt seem like its slipping but Im not too sure if its lacking accel or something as this is my first 200x and I have not ridden any others. But I have ridden plent of dirtbikes, atv's etc.. I just havent run into this issue before with anything.

Sounds to me like its your clutch fiber/steel discs. I would order a new kit off of ebay. If after that it still doesn't working would say your clutch lifter is bad or your return spring is too weak.
