Thats a sweet X man! Are you going to ride it or just keep it in mint? I remember when I redone mine. But it sucks after you ride it so much lol.

Hey I am almost positive that a local ATV shop had a set when I was looking for plastic for my X, he was going to sell them to me as a package deal, but I havent been back to get the plastic. I will try and look to see if they still sell them or have any..........peace

zip ties work fine to hold tags.. i can get at least 1 season out of them without any problems!

I used zip ties to the frame to hook the plate on, seems to work good on our blaster and 400ex so it should be fine.

hey dyno whered you get the electric control switch? thats what they look like on the newer hondas, what is that one off of?
Dynofox

I'm not sure what the switch is off, it was on the trike when I got it. Maybe a 250x? Something with the newer style without e-start.

Hey I found some really rare fork/disc covers for the 85-86 250R at the local shop and snagged them up. Here are the pics of them and let me know if you want them. If not I might keep them or sell them on ebay. (NOTE: These are brand spankin new, just took them out for the pics).......peace

LOL If we would have gotten more snow I would have. Can't wait to get the sled out this winter! :-D
Nos 350, with the 350 being a leading axle and the R being a trailing I doubt the fork guards would work unless you modified them quite a bit.

Hey Fox,
Lets see some more pics of the ATC 350X. Did you trade the Tri Z for it?
What you do you feel are the differences? Pros and cons of each machine compared to the other?

Darius yes I traded the Z for the 350. I don't have any other pics, I’ll try to get a few more tomorrow if the weather is decent. As for the differences I can't comment to much on that yet since I haven't actually been able to get a good ride in with the X. As for my seat of the pants around the yard feel I like the awesome low end the X has but you can defiantly feel the extra weight over the Z. I hope after getting some real riding time on the X I like it more than the Z but we'll see. I do miss the sound of 2-stroke, but I guess I could go fire the sled up if I miss it that bad. LOL :D

DARIUS "sled, what do you mean?"
ANY NEW YORKER "its a snowmobile"
DARIUS "s n o w m o b i l e , what its a machine for snow?? boy that wierd, think it would work on the dunes??"
I miss my sled, I miss sledding. Hopefully someday me and the old lady can afford to get some more sleds. You southern boys dont know what you are missing. You like speed and accelleration?? you gotta get you a Rotax twin under your ass!!

Holic,

I never referred it anything as a SLED in my last post. I asked about the differences between the Z and the X from Dynofox's perspective.
Hey lets get more pics of old school R in action...that looked pretty sweet!!

All I can say is that you gotta try it sometime, it is unreal! And, No, you dont get cold. I only mentioned sleds, cause dyno did. I guess it wasnt funny. sorry.

wow thats very nice, how do you like the clarke tank??
Dynofox
11-23-2003, 11:58 PM
350Xccelerator, the tank is very nice other than it's starting to turn color and decals bubble up from the vapors coming through the plastic. :? Being plastic is great though, no rust, dens, or paint chips.
