My triz i picked up is stock. the carb jetting was way off from the service manual which called for a 470 main and 45 PILOT.
my question is if i change the ratio from 24:1 to 32:1 yamalube r, would i have to go with a leaner main jet and drop the needle a notch u think? or should i just mix at 24:1 ? thx

Go back to stock settings and ratio and start from there.

Keep in mind, the more oil that is mixed with the fuel, the leaner your combustion fuel mixture will be... Contrary to what alot of folks think, more oil does NOT mean richer fuel mixture in the combustion chamber! The influence isn't huge, but if you drop from say 50:1 to 30:1 you might want to richen your jetting a little bit... Keep an eye on things when you change your premix ratio to a richer oil mix till you know it's running safe

I'd put it to 40:1 or 50:1....change jetting to stock for starters...and adjust from there..follow your manual.
