87 200x on ebay

This trike is about an hour from me. I just can't believe how high the price has gotten. My buddy called me and gave me this guys number. I called him and offered him $750 based on cell phone pics. He told me it was on ebay and somebody offered him $1100 plus shipping!??? Maybe one of us here?

After seeing better pics, I'm stil thinking WTF?

Rear fenders were hacked and ruined for those stupid mudflaps. Tires arent correct. Appears that the engine has been spray painted. The muffler is gone and has a straight pipe. The grab bar is beat up, the seat has a different cover on it, and it looks like the fork boots are dried out.

I'd love to have this thing as I think it would make a great piece to restore, I'm just in aww that the bids are up so high...

Maybe I'm crazy. What do you think?

If he was offered $1100+shipping open market, he needs to take it.

I'm with 'mxnick', it will go for $1000ish on ebay and he'll have to pay his fees from that..

He's better think fast before his $1100 evaporates and he get $900ish after fees..if there really is such an offer!!

Nice trike though..I wouldn't mind finding on in my area.
