I just received this from Angie,,GSW,Greg's Widow ,who we lost last October. A few of us got some money together and sent their way at Christmas. I say a few,,there were a lot,,,but considering the amount of eyes that saw it,,a few. Angie is one incredible woman,Greg was a VERY lucky man to have her. She is very strong, and her and their son Mikey are hanging in there. So,,I,,,wish to Thank ALL of you who gave once again. And Billy /3ww for making it easier TO do it. You all should be very proud. Thanx Bill ..... This is her letter to you guys : )
Ok. Please post this, and thanks again.
Hello, everyone. My name is Angie Wills; I'm Greg's wife, and I just wanted to express my sincerest thanks for the donations made to honor him. I'm sure he would be astounded that so many pitched in to help us out after his death. He was a very giving man, always helping anyone in need, so I am truly thankful and honored to have some of those same expressions of empathy sent to Mikey and myself. We sincerely appreciate it.
I wanted to share with you what would be done with the money. Greg was in his last semester of motorcycle mechanics at Central Carolina Community College; his dream was to open up his own custom bike shop. About a month before his death, he asked me if I would contact CCCC and start a scholarship for the motorcycle program in his name. He said that would make him feel better because at least a part of him would be living on, and people would be thinking about him, and he also agreed that in some way he was helping others achieve the same dream that he had wanted so badly. So, there is a fund set up with CCCC. More info can be found here at http://www.cccc.edu/foundation/ There is actually an online form for giving with PayPal here (tax deductable) if any of you wish to give more or didn't give before and want to now. Just click on Give Now. A portion of the money you donated to us will be given to this scholarship fund because it was one of Greg's dying wishes. Your money will give me the ability to honor those wishes. The remainder will be used to help out with medical bills that are remaining.
Again, I'd like to offer a heartfelt thanks to all of you. May you be blessed and may time repay you for your kindness.
