I've noticed my clutch in the 250r isn't doing what it should. When I have the engine in idle and pull the clutch in all the way and put my trike in first or second (sometimes I start in second and I'll tell you why momentarily) my trike will want to move. Then when I try to put it back in neutral, its hard as a b**ch and usually I skip neutral and go to what ever gear is next. I have tried adjusting it until I can hardly pull it and still the same result.
I am assuming the clutch needs replaced which is fine but when I went to motorsport.com (or whatever it is) I found clutch springs, clutch plates, clutch.... What should I get? I dont plan on doing this myself because if I do I wont be racing this season lol  ..
The reason why I start in second is because second gear feels the same as first. As in, when I shift into second I am still going the same speed and have the same RPM range left to go. And it is just as easy to start in second as it is in first. Is this common or is my second gear worn out to the same size as first. By the way when the clutch was better than it is now, shifting into second wasnt hard and I never slipped out of second so it feels like second isnt bad but just has no gain over first.
