142005142006142007142008TT]Hi guy's I'm new on here and I have just bought a like new 86 350X that has had about 8 tanks of gas through it from the day it was new, the stock chain still look's new, does anyone have any Idea what it is worth? (It has the new rear mud flap on it) I can't seem to find any on e-bay to compare it to. I bought it to ride, but it is going to be a shame to ride it because it is so nice. I was thinking about selling it, if it worth a lot more than I thought that it was. Any input would be great.. Thanks..[ATTACH=CONFIG]141087141088

With only 2 pics its hard to tell but it does look very nice. Post up about 20 good quality pics and folks may get a better idea of its value. If it indeed has very low hours and is all original, I would guess it would bring over $3000 easily. No mud flap is a strike against it though.

I can get one at the Sec. of State. it takes about 4 weeks. But if this thing is only worth 3000.00 I am going to have to ride the hell out of it, I have a 86 250R also and I have rode that rocket for the last 3 year's but I am going to get on the X and give it a try, I am 48 and I need to slow down a little before I get hurt!! Thanks.. If anyone want's to call me to make an offer on it, I may be interested if it is a good price. #517-290-2020 (I will not be selling it for any less than $3000.00) Thanks for all of the comment's.
Be safe and keep that front wheel in the air where it belongs!!

Like I stated before, based on just the 2 pics you had posted at the time, I would say $3000 would have been easy. Personally, it looks like a very nice low hour bike to me. If you truely want to sell it, and want what it is worth - list it on ebay and either put a reserve price on it or start it at your minimum acceptable price and see where it goes. It always helps to be willing to ship it, even if the buyer has to arrange the shipping. Several nice trikes have gone for good $ and shipped over seas in the last year or 2. Again, I would suggest taking about 20 pics of it outside the garage (the 2 pics you posted that are outside are what I'm talking about) or in a better lit garage. Good luck or happy riding what ever you decide to do with it.

very nice example! i agree with the 2500-3000 range. thats in my area of course. Probably flipped it, tore the mudflap, was scared of the tourque, and there it sat!! If your gonna ride it like you stole it, i would flip it!! you could easily get 2 decent riders out of that!! you can ride them and keep them nice, but that always depends on the person!! regaurdless, great score on that X!!
