Well it was time for me to start a little club. And since Alot of people have been calling me that for going on frozen lakes "when its not safe" but never get my feet wet. Well me and some friends along with a member here and his friends from Bathrust New Brunswick went for a good tear on the bikes. Here is the first vid. Just check my channel for the others.

I've had my lab analyze your video for signs of PMD (progressive mental deterioration AKA “crazy”) and found no visual evidence of such. However when played through an ESS (emotional sensory spectrometer) which detects human emotion there was massive evidence of pleasure endorphins being released from the riders in the video. Although still at an early stage, studies of these endorphins have been shown only to cause large smiles on lab rats with the only known side effect being slight frost bite on the rats that chose not to wear an extra pair of socks during the study. Please feel free to continue to participate in these “crazy” activities and for crying out loud put more footage of that Tecate in future postings eh?

Hahahaha. Thats funny. The reason why were crazy is going on 6 inches of ice to cross lakes. And 2 I ride at night with no light and see just fine. And 3 I can ride and film with one hand.

Good stuff.

But.... U can drive a truck on 10 inches. 6 is plenty! U can walk on about an inch and a half. It flexes and cracks but it will hold. My friend and I have done it. He is a member here, he can actually back me up on this.

Anyway keep the videos coming!

Post them all. There is a missing piece this year.....all of our ice is in Europe this year. Let's see them. Show me 2" of ic and I may think you are crazy though. Usually, early season it's about 3-4 inches and we head out. Great vid.

Nah. We get good winters and bad ones. This year there is no snow so the trail is nothing but ice. Makes for some real good runs with no ruts. Just wait till I do some open water gaps. If we do not get some rain tomorrow Ill be water skipping.

Here is Chris skipping over the expansion cracks in the ice. We had to move the track shortly after this as the ice started sinking as we passed over it.
