Hey Kevin. Welcome to 3WW!

Craigslist is your friend in your search for a fixxer-upper trike. If you find one you can afford and are interested, post up the link and we can help you determine a fair price. The more details the better!

But if you are looking for someone to basically give you a trike, it's probably not going to happen... but you never know. However, anything good in life worth having is worth working for! How about doing some work for the family for some extra money? Don't be too proud to pick up cans along the road, or see about a part-time job on a farm or something... I think it's pretty fair to say we all had to start somewhere, and any job you can put an honest day's work in for an honest day's pay toward buying your first trike is a great start!

Good luck buddy and keep us posted as to what you find!

ya, theres good deals out there. i just sold a 200s for 350$ . in my area in finger lakes ny, the smaller trikes just dont bring very much money.... also had a mint 125 last year i sold for 375 $ so keep looking and you will get your toy... be safe , and always wear a helmet...

Well, I think your quest should not be what you can find for a fart and a peanut, but what kind of work you can find so you can earn enough money to buy a descent entry level trike...

You have to realize something... Back in the late 80's and early-mid 90's you could get trikes for dirt cheap, and I mean DIRT cheap.. But these days with people like us out there restoring them and helping bring them back to some small level of popularity, they just aren't going for small beans anymore in most cases. You will either buy a cheap hardtail for a hundred or 2 that needs 2 or 3 hundred in parts, or you will find a good running hardtail that needs a little minor work for 3 or 4 hundred.

Just keep looking around, and if you find something that catches your interest, post up what it is with as many details as you can and we will help you figure out if it's a good deal or if you should run away.
