Yea I am watching it too. It's used, and that is crazy. I am thinking of making my own short track kit and selling it. Tank will be metal or aluminum.

It's not just the tank. It's the whole kit.. which drives up the price considerably. Quite a few short track tanks on Ebay lately. Very few have the whole kit.

One sold recently for $1500. One before that was $2200 I believe, but I didn't save that listing. Hell, NOS front fenders are going over $300 and they are a dime a dozen. The Federal Reserve's stimulus is creating asset bubbles in the 3 wheeler parts markets. Lol.

Thank God I got in the game early. I couldn't afford to replicate my R anymore and even if I could I don't think I could bring myself to spend more for a short track kit than I paid for my 1000cc snowmobile.
