250ES Big Red Exhaust Stud - Bad words.... and a lil Trivia!

Ok... got a new exhaust from the Weezmeister and taking the rusty swiss cheese grade one off and snapped the exhaust stud. :mad: Even had heat on it too. Any great suggestions out there????

drill and tap the hole with first a taper tap, then a bottoming tap (you can make one by grinding off first 1/2 inch of regular tap)

thread an ALUMINUM rod

set the aluminum rod in with LOTS of red loctite

Cut off excess

Sand smooth and center punch

Drill and retap with M8 tap and bottom tap.

You are the closest! It is a Honda of Canada assessory block heater. That is a close up of the block heater itself. I've never seen another one, picked it up on ebay a few years ago. Even the paperwork and instructions look way different than all the other Hondaline assessories I have documentation on. Must of been for the way upper North eh?
