To me this was to good of a deal to pass up. My neighbor has this same bike so I am very familiar with what they are capable of. I actually bought it from his buddy. The bike is low miles. Everything works perfect. It never left his farm, he used it to run fences. He bought a big UTV a few years ago so it has just sat in his barn as a backup. It has a winch on the front. The only thing it needed was tires. It now has new ITP mudlites. I absolutely love it. He told me to come get it for 1k, so I did.

For those who don't know, these have high, low and very low gear settings, with diff lockers.

I got the same exact quad, except a 93' and blue. Ive yet to have anyone out mud it. The odometer reads 1800 miles and was broken when I got it so I'm gonna figure it has somewhere around 3k miles. I paid 1500, and they sell for like 2500 around me so I'd say you got a good deal. I take it through my 5' + deep mud pit all the time and in the creek without any worries. One tip, poke the dirt out of the brake drainage/ breather hose once in a while. Mine got clogged and my brakes got mud in them, which is what my neighbor told me ruined the brakes. My brother put it back together too tight which disintegrated the bearings and ruined the whole rear right end. So I wont be riding again till probably April. But ya man, good price on that beast

I dont know if you use the foot brake but Id reccomend wrapping the adjustment screw for it in teflon tape and then tightening it, mine backs off every time I ride it. Also if you take it in the mud, its at least worth pulling apart the back brake and checking the drum O-ring and hub seal. Those like to leak, which ruins your brakes. If there good then smear them with some heavy duty tractor grease to help seal out water. If there dry rotted you can buy brand new ones from suzuki for $80 for each. The back brake is the downfall for it. Nothing else will ever fail you, and if you clean out that drum once a year and re apply grease you should never have brake problems.
