79 atc70 fenders

hey guys i have got this atc70 off a person from craiglist and the fenders has a crack in it.but from it sitting out in the sun it has like crack marks all over it i was thinking about getting it fiberglass to fix all of the problems so when i paint them it will look all nice and clean what yall think?

you can buy completely new front and rear for $120 ,,, besides fiberglass will not stick to the plastic
