Anyone used a Trail Tec universal voltage regulator on their 86' 350X? I have bought 3 used ones "2 from E-Bay" and they were all bad. I just ordered an adjustable universal one to put on. I have voltage at the connection in the back so I've narrowed down my problem with the lights not working to the regulator. The trail tech is a regulator-rectifier, 2 wire... I think it should work. Where has anyone found a suitable replacement? http://www.amazon.com/Trail-Tech-AC-Voltage-Regulator/dp/B004FSP3JQ

I have, use and sell ( until I run out of them ) a aftermarket "Voltpack". I have sold / used 50-100 of these and can't ever remember having a bad one or one go bad. $19 shipped via Priority in the US.
