200x not starting [Archive]

my 85 x wont start it almost starts when i tried to push start it. i was wondering if you guys no what the problem could be it isnt the kill switch or the carb or the gas line. and i was wondering if there is a was to make it electric start?

There was a GOKI electric start on ebay a few days ago, i didnt win it though :? Kinda sucks, but yea, if you could find another one of those you could elec. start it. When you kick it, does it turn over at all? Mine will turn over, and idle for about 10 secs before dying, and it does it all the time. I am getting a new carb and am gonna adjust the timing on it.

To check the ignition timing. Take out the plug on the left lower side of the case. (it is about 3/4" and slotted) And line up the F mark (on the flywheel) with the mark on the sidecover. Now remove the pulse generator cover, loosen the two screws and rotate the plate to line up the two reference marks.
