Wtf is the slot on he right side of my 85' 200x front fender

I cantfigure it out for the life of me wheat in the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro is this slot that on the right side of my frOnt fender its about 10 inches long and about a halfbinch to an inch wide! Thanks!!!

Its for the brake hose to go in.

My 84 and 85 dont have them. Are you sure it is the right fender for that bike. I think the 86-87 had them on their fenders.


Edit I guess mine does have them. I didnt think they were on them till the second generation machines. Just goes to show how something is easy to overlook.

Yep thats for the front brake hose , just means you still have an OEM front fender !!!!!

I got the bike like 2 weeks ago and the guy said its a 85! And the brake line runs right down the forks throught rubber bushings the slot im talkin bout is on the fender itself it cant be for the front brake line cause honda would never make such retarded design for a brake line

either A. Your fender is on backwards, or B. you have a different brake hose. It is, INFACT for the brakeline. Don't doubt the power of 3 wheeler world!

Also, its not a dumb design. Think about suspension travel. The line needs room to move!

Y ipod and dont have a computer! And the idea of the suspension travel that does make sense its just hard to imagine that the big ass slot down the side of the finder is for a brake line!!

I have a 83 200x and it has the oem front fender and it has the same slot.The 83-84 250r also has the same setup.
