majer plastics quality? big red 250es

my big reds left fender is cracked off, my right fender is good. i read reviews on majer didnt sound like they were the best. so to the people who have purchased majer fenders, how is the quality compared to original ones?

i love mine on my 200x. also they have a manufactures crack warranty for a year or something. they have a nice shine to them with the nice oem color

If you are ok without running the side trim, they are great.... Have them on my 85 ES and love them....

Well, I have Maier factory style plastics on my R and while the color and the sharpness of the angles isn't a perfect match to OEM the durability is OUTSTANDING! Waaaaayy tougher than OEM plastic. You can just about fold a Maier fender over on itself and it won't even leave a white stress streak...

I think they're awesome fenders. Have a set on all of my R's look stock everything. And have good warranties on them.

does majer make just left fenders for the big red? im willing to spend 200 for the set since my right has a small flaw but id rather spend like $100 just for the left

You can probebly order just the left but the color will be different slightly then the oem right what type of big red you have I have a 83 200e and I think maier discontinued them if I recall properly

ya just checked unless you have a 250 es your out of luck but I did notice that the 250es looked close to my 83 200e fenders, anyone know if the mounting spots are the same and if they will work for me?

The Mair fender will not match correctly on the rear to you OEM fender either. It not only does not have side trim as mentioned before but it does not have holes for mud flaps either. Instead the fender is extended a little further down.

JJMF1979 - I have a 83 200e as well and the 250es rear fenders are different and will not mount up.
