sMy coil works on my trike, but it has seen better days. since it has the integral condenser, I ended up splicing in a 90 condenser that I had, and that seems to work. however, the plug wire is loose where it goes into the coil, and it vibrates out at inconvenient times once in a while. Is there a way that anyone uses to secure the wire in the coil permanently? has anyone else butt spliced a 90 condenser onto a 110 coil? Are there any options to getting rid of this 33 year old coil, and going with something new?

Where the plug wire goes into the coil there is a small threaded stud in the middle, cut about 1/4 inch off of your wire and screw it back into the coil. On one of my 110 coils I wrapped electrical tape around the wire and end of the coil to help hold the wire, a temporary fix has held up for over a year now lol.

ok cool, that little spike is threaded? so this means that i can run the extra accel super stock wire that i have left over. awesome!
