Years ago I used the original Carlisle Badlands and liked performance and wear.Looking at Carlisle's website they don't list them. There is pictures of them on home page. The price used to be pretty good also.Plus I can get them at local tire shop. What I was wondering is how the original ITP Holeshots compare?I will be purchasing 20-11-9 tires. So any other suggestions in something sporty?Might even consider Turf Tamers depending on price.

I bought a set of 20-11-9 Carlisle Badlands twenty years ago for about $35 each. They held up great. Much better than any ITPs I've used since.

I would buy them again if I could find them.

Also use Turf Tamers now. They are my fav for dirt. 20-11-9 TTs are difficult to find lately. I believe this size is discontinued.

Holeshots wear out faster imo. I've been running both on different rides for a couple years now.

I just threw some 18" badlands in the pile that lines our track. Not because they were worn out, but because they were dry rotted to the point that they wouldn't hold air. I got them used around 2002 and couldn't wear them out. They used to work great on my 200x, and even on the 85 R. The only tires I tried and liked better were some Fast Trekkers that I can't find anymore either. Right now I'm running Holeshot SX's that have a little bit too much side bite, but not nearly enough for my trx. To get the Hoelshots to perform closer to the badlands, I run more air(around 10 psi).
