Need your help...what kind of shock is this??

It came off an 84 200x but I know that of course it isn't oem so what is it and is it a good shock, I'm thinking maybe it is a fox? it looks to be alot longer then stock so might be good to use with the +6 swingarm I just bought but not sure my friend has it and I have only seen this pic as he doesn't live nearby
