Is anyone going this year? I went last year and only saw a few 3 wheelers. Didn't see one Tecate. I'm trying to take 3 with me and 1 250R. Hopefully I can get one in the show n shine contest. :D

Hmm. I was there last year for a couple days. I was on my 85 R and my buddy was on his 82 R. He did the Honda ho-down drags or whatever it was called. There was at least one Tecate 4 out there that I know of. I would love to have my T3 done for this year. I might have a chance in the show 'n' shine.
Maybe after firing their $80,000+/year event coordinator they will drop the price of admissions...

I made reservations yesterday but it was mostly sold except for sand camping. I got area A which is along the gravel road. The lady who I spoke with said if I don't like it I can switch to sand. It is all good to me. I am for sure bringing 2 T3's and 1 250r plus some quads for kids.

That is what we did last year and it was easy to get a spot. I see you live in Gold Hill I went to North Medford we used to jump off the train tressel in Gold Hill back in the 80's lots of fun.

Cool! I have jumped off both bridges but not the top of the tressel, but that was a few years back. I wonder if I can convince my wife to go to Dunefest for our anniversary, its August 4th lol.

That would be nice to see more green besides myself. My wife goes but doesn't ride and my daughter is still learning, so I usually ride by myself unless others are going. It is like pulling teeth to get friends who ride to go to Oregon for a week. So I invite whoever but more than likely they all won't go.

I will forsure be there. Buddy of mine did have a trike, with a Puma in it, we ran it in the Honda hoedown also. He is running a rigid frame this year. I will have DT ready to roll forsure. There are also drags at Coos Bay/North Bend now. Facebook link

Hello there i know this is an old thread but i was going to post a new thread with the same question but thought i would do some searching and i found one lol! Im going this is my first year going, actually this is my first year realy into the offroad scene all together never owned a bike before until now. Anyway i will be bringing out my 200x nothing exciting just stock, thinking about getting me some paddles so i can get around a little easier and try to keep up with my friends and there quads! How is the terrain do you think i realy need paddles and if so will 18 inch paddles do the job out there my friend has and extra pair?

You don't NEED paddles but you will have a better time and be able to go more places faster lol. I wouldn't run anything over a 7 paddle v type tire, anything more will kill that 200x's power.

Do vendors show up for this? Is it a festive thing? Is the turnout big for this?

Where about are you in Nor Ca? I live in Redding and not many trikes up this way. I have done dunefest twice on my quads but never had the trike running for it yet. Still not this year but next year I would be more than happy to meet up with you up there and do some riding. The Tri Z should be screaming by next summer so I am going to make a definite trip out of it.
