250r questions??

guys i need some opinions. first of all i have a bone stock 85R. I want to beat my buddies and there 450s with exhaust and jets. will just your basic exhaust/jet/carb bolt ons be enough to get me there or will i need more than that? MY trike needs a rebuils and i dont just wanna rebuild it stock if im gonna need port/polish work to beat a 450.

I have a nearly stock 85r that has a power pros pipe and silencer with jetting and just different gearing. Rips off the line but can still pull the more gears I shift still stock sized piston and everything.

I have an 85 250r that had an fmf pipe and silencer. stock gearing. lined up with my buddies piped efi yamahahaha yfz450... dead even til I hit 6th...then I walked right by him while rubbing the tank and smilin at him.

shouldn't take much to walk them. pipe/silencer/Carb/jetting/gearing. basic stuff. n good tires n knowing when to shift n how to launch
