Went and found a good deal on a car and a 3 wheeler ( one of those "buy both for a better deal" ). When we got there we seen something I had never seen before. See picts below. I guess a few more rolls of Duct tape are now on the TF list!!

Gas to go get it: $50
Car and 3 wheeler: $500

Seeing a hole in a tire sealed via Duct tape: Priceless

The oil is a light tan, air filter slightly dirty, all the bearings seems tight. Gas tank looks pretty good inside. The duct tape suprized the heck out of me. I would have never expected this from a house that was worth at least 1/2 a mil. They parked the 3 wheeler after they stripped the spark plug out during a normal tune up 2 years ago.

The car we bought same place was parked because they drove it into a ditch and broke the grill and headlights out ( $50- $100 in parts at the junk yard ). They parked it and used it for a paint ball target instead of fixing it. It is a 1989 and has only 88k miles and NO rust. Has a few dents on the back quarter panel from what looks like hail damage. The engine oil looks like it was changed 500 miles ago. The only valid reason I seen for parking it was it was because it is a Plymouth. LOL

Generally in my experience, the richer people are, the worse they are with common sense repairs, and duct tape is usually the norm until they get a blue collar underpaid Pee on, to do it right..so I am not surprised.. It does make me wonder what kind of job they can hold, that pays so highly. LOL..Nice bargains though.

never would have thought duct tape would seal a leak in a tire. I keep a roll on me when were riding i guess i can take the tire plugs and plug tools out of the backpack to lighten the load
