Also what is a some good bolt on power mods to wake this thing up? Reeds? If so what reeds are good with my set up? Any other bolt ons availabev

Reeds are a good investment, I prefer the vforce II's. Then, porting, porting, porting to match your riding style and expectations.

Thanks, any input appreciated, I'm just wondering where to start my jetting.
Forgot to mention I'm using golden spectro 32:1.

For jetting you should be pretty close to what ever stock specs are for the 85. Probably 1 or 2 sizes up. In my 86 with a paul turner high rev pipe, K&N filter w/airbox, and running 50:1 golden spectro thats all I went and have been running like this for years along with a few of my other friends when they had piped stock engines.

Thank you very much ^. What size would be 2 up? A 150?

My book says for the 85 stock size is 142 then next size up would be 145 then 148, 150 would be after that. If you were to use the 86 carb since it is a different carb it starts out at 145. Good luck.:)

Hey, I'd start with a 152 just to be safe! Buy or have in hand 152, 150, 148 and 145 to be sure, maybe even a 155 too! Being that close to sea leval, the air is denser, I'm at 150meters (400 feet or so) and you'll end up modding more down the road lol I think you'll be staying with the 152 or 150!
Good luck!
