Went up for a quick day trip, and first ride of the year. Myself, T-3 lopes, his son, and some other friends hoped we would avoid the rain that's been so unpredictable. After an extended breakfast, the sky cleared and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the day. Ran into a few liquid R's, one 82R, a 225dx, 200x, and a 250sx. Always nice to see other 3wheelers...I ran my 86Z that has not been ran since summer 08, and figured it was time to stretch her out again.

Would u say there r 4 days of straight riding to be done there??

My friends and I r planning a trip there for the weekend of August 11th so we r wondering how long we should stay for. The website says that there r 450 acres to ride. We just didn't know if u could ride it to death in a couple days or if it's worth staying for more.

Seeing where your coming from(the distance may be the same) you may want to look into the Badlands in Attica, IN. I have never been at silver lake, but it looks comparable if not a little less than the Badlands. Look up some you-tube videos of both.
