This was my first attempt at a 3 wheeler. My wife thought I was nuts then as well. Never knew what it actually was. Just started to put parts on it from a local motorcycle salvage shop in Chula Vista, CA. New Salsburry Clutch, disc brake (off yamaha 1000) on drive shaft, with hydraulic dual piston caliper, banchee exaust, Honda 403cc motor. It was fun but no where to ride in Imperial Beach, CA. but it was fun to build. Heres a link to some pics.

almost looks like something that would be used to manage a golf course. IMO it would make a great work buggy.....

I dont have that trike anymore. We downsized quite a bit leaving San Diego to move to PA. I missed it so much for a couple of years but now I have a real trike and dont miss it as much. I never knew exactly what it was but it was a free project and had about $300 into it and sold it for $750. It looked pretty good when I sold it and ran good to. Not as fast as my 83 Honda 200 ATC, but a fun build. The bed would hold 4 bailes of hay. OR A LOT OF BEER!

It looked like a Heald Super Tryke knock off... pretty cool. You're in Ligonier, huh? I'm originally from the Irwin area... got anywhere to ride out there in the Laurel Valley?

I mostly ride around on the farm. There are 60 acres here + the neighboring farms but cant ride in the fields of course. I dont have a trailer to cart my bike around so I just stay here and putz around. Some fishing and will use it for hauling deer im sure. I didnt have it for last season but If I can ever get it to start better, usually have to bumpstart the Honda 200.
