Anyone run these and if so what do you have for a setup? I have seen a few on ebay but i cant say i would put alot of confidence on them out on the trails. Post up what you got as I def need some :wondering

Just put some wide profile rear tires on..since I installed my Bear Claws it has given me all the stability I need.

Spacers not required!

thorpe - those were the ones i was refering to. I am not sure how comfortable i feel about taking those on some of the trails i cover. I would be afraid something would snap or break.

Bought the ones off of dratc.com but haven't tried them yet. They make it look sweet though!

I wheel the crap out of my ES... Been known to jump it a little, plow, and trail ride... Been going on them for 3 years now...

I have cheap bolt extender spacers like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-YAMAHA-WHEEL-SPACERS-RAPTOR-YFZ450-BANSHEE-GRIZZLEY-/180310781185?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item29fb5c2d01&vxp=mtr

I ride pretty hard and never had a problem with them. I'm not jumping though. I know they are more fragile and weak than real spacers but they held great for me.

Have definatly been considering these but i was curious if these would fit? http://www.chrome-addiction.com/g-dura-blue-wheel-spacers-42737.php I have a old pair of these on my 350x and they are the same bolt pattern as an sx but i figured i would ask the experts here. This is obviously cheaper for me and would give me a even wider stance.

Stay as far away as you can from them!! They are crap, the nuts Loosen ALL the time and egg your wheels. They needed tightened after EVERY heat back in the day. Most guys just let them eat their wheels up. The ones Thorpe advised are the ones you want. Loctite em and you'll love em!

I just wanted a little wider stance for the trails that i am running and the 250sx has a very narrow wheelbase and i seem to be dumping it ALOT lol. Are there other other spacers out there that would work that offer more than 1.5 and work with a 250sx

There is a 2" option, and I think Highlifter has a 3" option... You would be suprised how much of a difference there is with just 1.5" per side... I have no regrets with them, never wishing they were wider...

I bent all my stock axles and swingarms.

The crap is all BOLTED together and they keep running.

Yes, it will still ride but if you ever go and try to rebuild it, you'll find it's bent.

It was about 1998 when I found the issue and had to buy a new swinger and axle.

Do as you wish though.........

Sold my 350x a few years ago... But a measuring tape should give you that answer pretty easily...

I agree but my 350x is far far away from where i am currently residing. I am stoked to try out the new spacers though.

Maybe a fresh post, asking what the rear of an X measures... One of the guru's has to know... I will post you a pic of the rear of my SX today with the 1.5"s on it...

The ones Thorpe show are the same design as wheel spacers for cars and they have a heck of alot more weight and HP working against them and they hold up fine. the durablue set is twice the price and don't seem as good a design IMO.

Had these on the SX i used to have. Also have them on my 350x right now. They are awesome. Price has gone up a few bucks since i bought mine but the quality is top notch and well worth it.
