A few ? On a bandito build

Been gathering up parts for my first 90 build and trying to keep with the vintage racer look. First is the bars and grips. Is stock the only thing that would have the correct look? the motor has a 58mm stroker crank with a 55mm hc piston and full race cam and will be running 18" tires on the rear what would be a good place to start for gearing and the last thing is the hand brake lever. Just what has to be done to be able to remove it and just run the foot lever?

You should just be able to take off the lever and cable and use all your stock parts from the pedal back.

Cool thats easy. seen a post talking about having to mod the foot lever to work by its self and wasnt for sure.
