Been wantin one of these forever. Its a 2000 in decent shape runs good. Only rode it for 20 minutes but man does it feel heavy! Don't care for the short kicker that's backwards or that I have to lift my foot to shift. Ill mess with the shifter tomorrow. Overall pretty happy with it.

Well, is she fast? As far as being heavy, what are you comparing it to?

Yeah its fast. Compared to my 88 250r and 86r atc its insanely heavy but its quick in a straight line and why I bought one.

I love mine. Truly a thrill to ride and yes they are pigs and very nose heavy.

welcome to the banshee family. sounds like you either need to adjust the gear shifter down some, or either you wear a size 5 shoe lol.

i just bought an 87 banshee. only rode it a hand full of times. great fun but very hard on fuel, i think they would be hard to take on a full days trail ride

Yeah I just need to move it down some haha. It has a 5.6 gallon tank hopefully that will help some.

i just finished a 89 banshee myself , 65 hp i did the a-arm conversion with burgard +2+1 a-arms, 65 mm bore aggressive trail port, very fast and i did 60 miles of mountain riding in limestone ny into pa on saturday, it was a great machine for climbing and threw the twisting trails.
your looks like a great machine enjoy.

Banshees are alot of fun. Especially if you like to drag race. I recently finished my 421 cheetah cub Banshee. Its a runner for sure.
