'85 T3 Hub Spacers

I got these spacers with my '85 Tecate. I have never seen another set, and I always get questioned as to where I got them. The spacers are 2 3/4in. wide. Anybody know any history to these?

I havn't seen any that are exactly the same but the cast aluminum construction is typical for old durablue
