So I was hunting around for some alternate wheels for my 225DR just like I did with my 250SX.

I really want to get rid of the big stock fatty (22x11x8) and get a taller, slimmer wheel up front. I really like the steering & control improvements it made.
Anyway the 3 bolt hub is making it challenging to find something alternate..
Any ideas from anyone on how to accomplish this without having to find a front end swap?? Are there any 3 bolt alternate wheels out there?

Have you considered getting one made? I’m guessing a machine shop could make a plate that bolts on to a rim the size you want and then could drill out your three hole pattern. You may need to add a spacer to off-set the hub whatever the thickness of that plate ends up being, but other than that it shouldn’t be too complicated. Just keep in mind your hub (if it’s the same as my 200k) is pretty big, so make sure the rim you pick has enough room.

I know you said you don't want to a front end swap but I am planning a 200x front end. Like the thinner wheel and front disc. However, i do have an extra laying around so that makes it easier.

I know it may come down to that, but I was hoping there was something I could buy and bolt..

The 200x forks will fit in the 225DR triple or is there modification needed??

what about a tri-z hub and wheel. When I had my forks rebuilt they where the same as the yz125 and tt250 with different valving, he revalved mine the same as the yz and it made huge difference in the bottoming issue I had. I would love to do it also, shame I just bought a oshtu p/v 301 for front of mine.
