I finally got one!

Hey All,

I figured I would introduce myself, after months of "lurking" on the site and gaining covert information on the innerworkings of 3 wheelers. So, last week, I finally got a 3 wheeler I can call my own! I am the new owner of a brand-new (to me) 1987 Honda 250es Big Red! It's a little rough around the edges, but it runs perfectly and suits my needs perfectly. I look forward to learning more from y'all!

Thanks for the welcome! When I got this trike, I had no idea it was "rare"...All I know is that I've always wanted a three-wheeler since I was a kid, and now I have one!

yupp, less than 5,000 but not sure if that's usa or worldwide.

service manual should light up for you.

change rear axle oil. 80 wt, 3 POINT 4 ounces hypoid and the engine oil filter CAN go in the wrong way
and fry the cam.
Other than that, you've got a machine that will last forever.
