350x smoke problem?

hey i have an 85 350x and it smokes liek a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotr ailpro. especially when it first starts up. could it be rings or valve guides or cam seals or head gasket? i already replaced the valve seals

since you already replaced the valve seals i would say its your rings... im rebuilding the topend on my trike now... should run good once im done and everything put back together.

Had the same issue with my newly purchased 85 350X. After I tore it down and took the cylinder and head to the machine shop they told me that the cylinder needed bored due to excessive heat, one cracked valve guide, and needed all 4 valves. It wasn't cheap, but it should be good to go now. Just got everything back from the machine shop and getting ready to put it back togather.
