Anyone know of a good replacement clutch? - the time has come for a new one and i was unsure whether to go with oem or if someone knew of something better? Any help is appreciated.:Bounce

Nothing is better than OEM when it comes to clutch plates, especially the friction plates. Well worth the extra $

My vote is for whatever needs replacing 4 times per century.

I have a Barnett clutch in my Harley that has held up well, I see no reason not to consider a Barnett. Barnett has been around a very long time and makes a good product. I considered one for my 200S, but since it works fine I decided to save the money for my 200X build.

I figure if the original lasted 25+ years why would I chance going with something different?

Just like Howdy said i was going to go with oem. I have not checked service honda yet but i would assume that I could just buy the clutch kit right from there? Any idea what the cost is? Probably getting together with Bruce (350xn'ny) next week to install.

Depends how many plates you have; Just look at the prices at Service Honda. May run you 80$ or more.
Some guys buy the Ebay kits and they last a couple years.
Think about springs too.
And, I also like Barnett.....
