Well I got all the plastic back on the SX. I bought a new battery for it and got the electic start going. man, thats a nice option, wish I had it on the 350x. I have a couple things to do to it yet, it gets a new seat cover grab bar and tail light and 250sx decals on the fender. I also have a little knee rub on the tank. I may just leave that. I really don't want to paint the tank because it really don't look that bad. Its nice to actually have a day to work on it since I've been burried at work and the trip down to Vegas. I also took the bikes over to my new indoor storage at our shop. creates a bunch more room in the garage. Oh yeah the 1300 degree paint did'nt hold up on the headpipe. I had it blaster down to bare metal and it still burnt off. well turned black. Curing time on it was like 2 months. oh well. had to try it.

Thats a very nice SX. Reminds me of my old 85 minus the rims.

I got the rear taillight working tonight. Took it for a spin. I like it. I can';t wait to take it up in the hills before it snows.

Very nice BLAZERONE, are those 10" diameter rims on the rear?

Thanks, I've wanted a SX for a while. Now if i can get my hands on a 86 250r. maybe next summer. yeah they are 10 inch rims on back with holeshots. and 8 inch douglas rim on front. I really like that electic start. I think I'm going to get a kit for the 350x. I see they made a kit for the odessey also. Anybody ever install a kit on the fl250?

I think the trick to get the heat paint to hold is to paint it on, let it dry for 24 hours. Then start up the motor and get the pipe warmed up to where it's supposed to be, then shut it off. Let it cool totally. I did this on my 185's headpipe and it's still there.

That has to be the most classy 250sx I have ever seen. I have a 85 myslef and I now I want to get some douglas rims to make it nice. Is the ride much rougher on the sx with 10 inch rims? Overall a very nice job.

im thinking aobut geting one after i retore a ari cooled r i want another big red but one with out all the racks so the 250sx is perfect for it so i can have another trail rider

Are these the stock rims ? If so, what did you do to make them like that ? They look very nice !!

their 10 inch ITP rims, they do look pretty good on there. the rides not to bad either. thanks
