Picked up a 85 250R a couple weeks ago, it is in good shape , has maier plastic on it and the swing arm has been extended 3 inches, engine is still on original bore, the guy I bought it from was the second owner and he owned it since 1986.
I live in Milwaukie OR.

Sorry, somehow I double posted the pics:wondering

I can't wait to take it to the dunes:D1486421486431486441486451486461486471486511 48642148643148644148645148646148647148651

Nice to see another NW user! I'll be in OR tomorrow heading to Drain, OR hopefully to buy a tri-z. Your R is in great shape, I suggest a good uni filter and a flat slide carb off a 86.

Thanks for the offer to go ridding but I need to get my trailer worked on and I need to get a set of dirt tires since I just got paddle tires with it when I bought it, I also want to put a new chain on it, I don't trust an old chain. I used to live in Camas for 7 years, now in Milwaukie.

The 7 hour drive one way and fact that he refused to get a title (needed in WA) meant I stayed home and took out the KTM.

If you guys could ride sunday I can join. Any of those trails able to fit a Honda Pilot?

Got any pics of your pilot? that is the next toy I will be getting, maybe next year,I had a nice 85 FL350 Odyssey but sold it last year when I was moving, I have another fl350 that I need to work on but the 250R is more important at this time, I have taken my fl350 up to Jones creek by Camas but the trails there were very tight for it, got a lot of looks from guys on motorcycles when I would drive by them when they were stopped, the bridges at Jones creek were just wide enough to fit the odyssey, an inch or 2 wider and I would not have made it, I'M not sure how wide the trails are were they will be riding.

Thanks for all the great comment about my new ride, here is a pic of a few parts I have gotten in the last couple of days.
I'M going to get all new black Maier plastic since the stuff on the bike has some damage, and I like black, got the front fender and headlight surround, now just need to order the rear fender and air scoops and a bunch of other stuff I would like to get.
