he is not frank destra/fmnrd. that sells the nice trikes on ebay.
This guy will steal others pictures to use in his sales and ships out beat up parts or trikes to sellers in different states, i asked the buyer to post in this thread also so you guys will get the right story first hand.

Do not buy from padilla /pastro he has ripped off many people even other members here

Legend tells of an alternate universe where Frank Destra's evil twin resides........

....Some say this evil twin found a way into our world, changing his name to Frank Padilla and wreaking havoc upon the trikers of the land, slandering the name of Good Frank forever..........

Seriously, Detra = Good. Padilla = Bad.

I don't wish that on anyone, but I wouldn't lose sleep if it happened. He just needs His Karma to catch up to him and get the chance to visit Bubba for 20 -30 years. LOL

Come on KARMA your missing one!!!!

I just bought a 250r from the other frank in california. It was listed as near mint. I left him positve feedback because I got it pretty cheap. The only thing listed in the auction online that was wrong was the cracked rear fender. I got it and the stator had water in it gasket is really bad. It has a junk mikuni carb that leaks out of every orfice fuel line wont even hook up to it without a kink the inlet is straight up on it. The center case is jb welded it doesnt look broken though prob to seal a leak. the radiator shrouds have cracks the headlight is cracked the headlight shroud has a crack. one fork boot is torn. the sight glass for the front master is shot. missing toolbox. chain is really bad. shock resivor is zip tied to frame. The tank had a quick sand job and some crap sprayed on it. Lets just say his definition of near mint must be alot different than mine. I really wanted a 250r so I guess you live and learn on ebay. The pictures look really good. just a heads up.. I have seen some of the crazy prices he gets for some of those NEAR MINT BIKES. If the are anywhere near as bad as the one I bought Id be VERY UPSEt! Never again though.

Ok edit it said excellent conditon runs good! It doesnt even run well After 20 kicks it runs for a few seconds full choke LOL not able actually ride it. Its not excellent its a well used 30 year old machine that needs alot of work. That is how the description would be if I was selling It.

I have dealt with padilla locally and he is a swindly POS that I would not trust any further than I can throw him (and he weighs about 400lbs). He gives us a bad name here in CA and it really pisses me off. I bought an 88 250R that was supposed to have a perfect seat and a host of other very nice parts. When it arrived it had a reproduction seat on it that was torn on both sides, it was missing the footpegs, OEM bars, keypad, toolbox and a few other items. Then he tries to tell me I knew what I was buying.

This guy has been up to this for yrs. I can't beleive someone hasn't pressed charges yet. He's making a few k profit per garbage bike. Seems to sell quite a bit.
