hey guys thanks for reading! i just bought a 1983 ytm 200e shaft drive in pretty rough condition but runs and has everything for $150 from a neighbor. i need parts for it like fenders and tires and other trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro but everything works and it came with a brand new battery! so i need to take the gearbox apart becuase its locked up and the guy tells me it needs to be rebuilt and he says a few weeks ago the thing made a bang and it wasnt the motor it just locked up the gears and u can shift it but it goes no where so im thinking a gear could be blown apart in there and it probaly should be rebuilt and oiled and i was wondering what you guys think im pretty sad becuase it has the rear rack but not the front and he says 4 or 5 years ago his son painted it well my dad has a body shop for cars and this guy took 80 grit sand paper and scratched it up then went on to screw up all the plastic by painting it with BROWN RUSTOLEUM :drool:what the!?! dont paint the fenders its supposed to be YELLOW! but oh well aha il post some pictures of it tommorow hopefully thanks for reading help me out if you can -caleb:wondering
