Whats up guys,
I'm still on a quest to find a bike. I have someone who wants to trade me a '99 Gas Gas ec250 for my car trailer. Anyone have any feedback on these. Reliability, finding parts, repairs, etc. Thanks

Gas Gas is starting to make good bikes from what I've red in several of the "Dirt Bike" mags reviews, but it was only the most recent years 09-now and that the older is pretty rough. Like I said its what I read, and not first hand experience of mine? I would steer clear and stick with name brand as a trade cause they hold value better and parts are easier to get. Hope that helps?

Ive always heard good things about gasgas bikes. Always ran like a raped ape. Finding parts may be difficult, but I dont think value would be any different than the bigger companies. Take the bike for a ride, and look it over good. If the bike is solid, go for it.

GasGas are very good Enduro and Trial bikes.
I ride GasGas since 1999. I had a 99' 200EC and still have a 00' 200EC, a 00' 280TXT and since last year a 08' 125EC, and never have any problem.
They are numerous here in France and more generally in Europe.
We don't have any problem to find part, but I don't know how it is in the US.

GasGas.... Good stuff. While I don't have one, (I have a Scorpa) I have ridden a ton of them and competed in trials against them for years. My bestest bud (I'd give him my last kidney if he needed it) rode a factory 300 for the last couple years of his career, WOW what a beast!!!!! He now has a GasGas 300 quad, one of 2 in the world I think and that is a beast as well. I have personally SPANKED, and I mean S-P-A-N-K-E-D 450's handily on this thing (as well as bruised my heart on it.... WOW that left a mark). They are nice bikes and we have never had trouble getting parts. Is it worth a trailer? That's up to you. All I'm saying is they are purty nice bikes.
