I have been looking for one these for a while and this isn't too far away. I see the rear fenders are cracker, tank is dented and tires don't look good.
Opinion on what I should spend (compared to what else I can find since value is always in the eye of the beholder...) Thanks!

That is one low hour 90. No way to tell you what to spend, but if it's close, you have that advantage.

A few months ago there was a lime green one for sale near me. The guy was asking $500. Needless to say, it didn't last long. I still kick myself for not grabbing it. It had good tires and ran. That one on eBay might be worth $300 or $400 or so since it doesn't run and needs tires. Depends if you want to keepit or part it out. I bet his reserve is pretty high though.

If those tires will hold air, sell em for a grand apiece to a restoration show!

I think his reserve is probably 500-700 (just a guess). I am about 150 miles away, but these don't come up often in my area. I sent him a message about holding it a week if I get it...hoping for good news.

So I got a response - reserve is $1k. Too high in my opinion. I don't think it will sell and then I will offer him $600 off ebay. Thoughts?

It does appear to have real low hrs.- Most of the damage is probably from sitting around & moved around and sitting with deflated tires. Says it needs tires. Most 90s sit because of tire issues. The problem with these 90s is tires cost in the range of about $300 ea.& up to 3x that for used tires!- for old used ones that somehow still hold air, not too weathered or cracked or repaired... I wouldnt want to convert it to newer rims/hubs either.....Those early 90s always have leaking tires. A big factor when buying a early 90 -especially now. There aren't many real good OEM tires out there-most are just so-so cond. & forget about finding/buying new ones. Not sure if you already knew all this -but it is very important to know all that beforehand so the price for the 90 is only part of it. It can get pretty pricy when you also consider repairing the fenders restore the seat/pan which it needs too. Not sure if $$$$ is an issue?
......... My best friend (whose passed now) had a '72 parrot green 90 exactly like that when we were kids. I remember he had rubber patches to fix the punctures/flats alltho youre not supposed to patch them supposedly. We sure had lots of damn fun on it -that pic just brought back lots of great memories.
