I can't believe it! I have finally made it here. I began this quest about a week ago. Man, you guys are a tough bunch to nail down, I hope it will be worth the trouble! SOOOOO, hello from Avra Valley! Forecast for the day; sunny, 111, with a chance of thunderstorms in the early evening. I hope there are a couple of you who are patient advisors because although I can ride with the best of them, I don't have a clue about engines. I am tired of relying on my neighbor to help me.

everyones always down south of me but nice to have you here, almost any question you have can be answered by someone here. working on engines can be tough and trying to understand how it all works is another level but my advice would be to figure out everything you can about your machine. generally a service manual will help you figure out the basics and in depth of how your engine works, study the pictures and put the correct name with parts in the pictures. if you can speak about it clearly, without describing parts as thingys and that one thing that looks like something else, it'll get you really far and it helps us to help you. hope that all doesnt sound too harsh but be confident in what you do and have fun.

MUD IS AWESOME! My next purchase is going to be some new back tires as mine are almost bare(good for slippin' and slidin' though). When I first started riding in 82, my friend and I spent alot of time around "Sh**t Creek" during monsoon. We would be coated in mud and would piss off my Pops when we would wash off in the swimming pool...heh heh heh...

Hey, your forks look similar to mine (but yours are awesome) are they standard or modified? I have a 82 110 frame with a 185 engine. It is right out of "Mad Max". I will definately keep you on call if I ever have the $ to buy something worth making pretty. Thanks so much, I appreciate it!

Born in Chicago, but moved here when I was only two weeks old. So I am an unofficial native. Grew up on west side. We used to be able to go anywhere in Tucson via the rivers. Santa Cruz to Rillito to Pantano. I also remember riding down in the pits after rain, and the millions of toads we couldn't help but obliviate. Good times!
