2 piece wheels?!

Whats the best way to replace tires on a 2 piece wheel? Pics or video would be great!!!

i had local tire shop put two tires on two two-piece wheels cause i couldnt break bead. they had been on there for 30 years, original tires. he only charged me 20 bucks and he put tubes in there too. didnt think that was a bad price. he didnt pull the wheels apart either kept them together. dont know if that helps but thats my experiense.

Yeah, the problem I am running into out here in Arizona is that no shops will touch a 2 piece wheel, they say it is to dangerous. They say the wheel can seperate under pressure?

Their is no bead lock on the 2 piece rims so use some tire tongs or a couple large screwdrivers and loosen the tire at the bead , unbolt the 2 halves and remove the rim halves from the tire . Install tubes and new tires and your good to go .

there is bead lock on mine, so it must not been the original tire. any way the same bolts and nuts that hold the hub on hold the halfs together should be fine.
