As many as you guys know I just picked up this 200x. And I have rode it a little bit but I have noticed a couple things with it. The motor has some noise in the top end when wide open down road how hard is it to replace the chain on this thing? And i have no problem in first gear but when I go into higher gears it seems like the tires are spinning but it just revs up some and then goes? Any ideas? Thanks

you probably need to adjust the cam chain. Do you have a manual yet? If not I would get one. Also, you need new clutch plates and your revving and spinning will stop. You can go the cheap route and get the versah clutch plate kit or you can go with barnett.

It's a manual yes and the cam chain tensioner is as far in as it goes

in as far as it goes?? When you adjust the cam chain you loosen the two nuts on top of the left case. First loosen the top nut and then loosen the second nut and its self adjusting. If you have done that, then the next step is the valves. Have you adjusted those yet?

Clutch is pretty straight forward. Just follow the manual. You will need a new gasket for the right case and the kickstarter cover. You will also need the honda special tool to remove the clutch and oil rotor nuts. The special tool is below. Along with a new set of plates you should be good to go.

Or you take it all apart, find out the hard way you need a special tool. Try and put it back together then find out you have 2 top bolts that are stripped. Take the bike to a shop and spend about $120 and life is good....
Oh wait that was me. LMAO
